Procrastination & Sandwiches

My mother used to always sing a song to my sisters and I about sandwiches, "I like sandwiches, sandwiches are nice, I like sandwiches I eat them all the time. I eat them for my breakfast and I eat them for my lunch, if I had a hundred sandwiches I'd eat them all at once!!!"
Here I sit in a quaint sandwich shoppe contemplating that song. What I truly think the meaning behind this classy, catchy and ever so eloquent sandwich mash up is this: Sandwiches are, have been, and always will be the BEST comfort food to have ever graced our planet of blue and green. There is nothing that a good peanut butter and home made strawberry jam sandwich cannot fix. Except for maybe a peanut allergies.
Being a full-time college student, in and out of work (searching, always searching for that management position.. Ha!), and as busy as life gets before children, I often find reason to find myself enjoying a good sandwich. Which leads us to the root of this post: Sandwiches and my procrastination are two HIGHLY correlating factors.

There we are, two new fun factors you may or may not have already known about me. A: I like sandwiches & B: Sandwiches = Procrastination

My first of [hopefully] many blog posts, bear with me, I am after all, an aspiring English Major/Writer/Teacher/Astronaut.

PS. If Kanye West & Kim Kardashian were both drowning and you could only save ONE of them, what kind of sandwich would you make??

  1. I'd make a whopping huge peanut butter and jelly with EXTRA pb and so it took me EXTRA long to eat. How could I be so heartless? :) Sandwiches are just more important.
